3/3/2008 Good Goliath Welcomes Two Veterans to the Team

Hello clients and friends of Good Goliath,

The past seven months have felt like a whirlwind.  We’ve kept up a staggering pace of growth, adding a number of clients and increasing our workload to the point that now we feel that we must increase our team in order to give all of our clients the service and attention they deserve.  Our vision for 2008 includes adding a handful of key accounts to allow us to further bolster our substantial services with additional support staff in design and project management.  This will result in higher levels of service for everyone.

We consider it an honor to work with each of our clients, and cringe at the thought of anyone feeling undervalued or underappreciated.  We serve our clients with everything that we have, and as we continue to grow, we have the opportunity and the responsibility to bring in the most intelligent and most experienced marketing professionals to help us provide all of our clients with the best service, the freshest ideas, and the most trustworthy strategies that we could possibly give.  

We have extraordinarily good news to share with all of you.  This week we have added two new Good Goliathers to our team: Bruce Smith and Mike Gomez.

Both Mike and Bruce are seasoned veterans in the fields of marketing and business development.  In addition to providing considerable aid to Good Goliath in developing our own corporate growth strategy, they will also have client-side roles, serving as dedicated marketing managers for a number of accounts.

Bruce Smith worked 20 years in the marketing machine at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), right here in Austin.  For more than half of this time, he served as the director of corporate marketing during some of the most exciting times of expansion that the company has ever seen.  He has owned and operated a strategic marketing firm in Austin since 2002, working with some very good companies, helping to make them great.  He will help our clients establish the objectives, strategies, and tactics to substantially grow their businesses.

Mike Gomez has joined Good Goliath to quarterback our business development efforts and to help our clients with sales management and training.  Mike served nine years in sales for Dell Computer, and most recently worked in sales management roles with Movero Technology and Kronos Software.  Mike has an undergraduate business degree in public relations from the University of Texas in Austin. 

Again, thank you for being a fundamental part of our success.  We will fondly remember these past seven months as the most difficult and rewarding moments in our history.  You’ve all been very good to us, and we will never forget it.
